EPA 106 Water Technician

Closing Date: Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 5:00PM

Non Exempt, $12.50 - $14.00 per hour, Done on Experience (D.O.E.)

Hours: 40 hrs. per week, Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect field data and perform necessary manipulation and analysis under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Officer, including gauging stream flows, springs and wells and assist in performing water quality testing; Assist the ETEP Director in coordination with other agencies to insure the Aboriginal lands of the Round Valley Indian Tribes are protected; Assist the ETEP Director to conduct polls and surveys of the Tribal Community and make public Tribal presentations when requested; Create public information when needed to educate others in environmental protection topics; Must be willing and able to travel and train in a wide range of environmental disciplines: (I.e. water, wastewater, solid waste, traditional environmental practices, Non-Point Source, erosion control, wetlands/restoration, etc.).

Tribal Police Chief

Salary: $50,000. - $64,000, Annually, D.O.E.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Tribal Chief of Police is responsible for planning, developing, managing and directing the police department; Performs responsible professional, administrative and supervisory tasks in directing the operation and activities of the Round Valley Tribal Police Department. The Chief of Police is responsible for the preservation of peace within the community; protection of life and property; and enforcement of Tribal ordinances, state and federal law where applicable.
