Tribal Police Chief

Salary: $50,000. - $64,000, Annually, D.O.E.

Hours: Full time

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Tribal Chief of Police is responsible for planning, developing, managing and directing the police department; Performs responsible professional, administrative and supervisory tasks in directing the operation and activities of the Round Valley Tribal Police Department. The Chief of Police is responsible for the preservation of peace within the community; protection of life and property; and enforcement of Tribal ordinances, state and federal law where applicable.


Tribal Historic Preservation Officer (THPO)

Salary: D.O.E.

Hours: Part Time with Various Hours

General Responsibilities

Manage the Tribal Historic Preservation Grant as the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer (THPO) by demonstrating administrative capability in establishing and managing the department; Represent the Round Valley Indian Tribes in a professional and competent manner; Maintain effective relationships with various Tribal Staff and the professional volunteers and other outside agency personnel and the general public; Demonstrate knowledge of local historic and prehistoric village sites, culture, religion, ceremony, and burial practices of the Round Valley Indian Tribes; Experience related to historic preservation and cultural resource management and be willing to upgrade formal knowledge on a regular basis; Knowledge of the Tribal intent for historic preservation and cultural resource management program; Familiar with regulations and standards of various regulatory and credentialing groups relevant to historic preservation and cultural resource management; Communicate with various Tribal employees, State and Federal agencies, and other relevant groups in order to effectively gather information and develop recommendations that efficiently coordinate the service;


Golden Oaks Motel Manager

Salary: $24,000.00 Annual Salary, D.O.E., and Lodging included

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

General Responsibilities

Resident Manager to oversee all motel staff, operation systems, customer service, reporting, and billing matters; Oversee maintenance and appearance of motel; Preference of experience, efficient and dependable person with supervisory and maintenance background to manage 24/7 operation.


TANF Secretary

Closing Date: Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at 5:00PM

Salary: -

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

General Responsibilities

Meet and greet TANF participants and community members; Answer, screen and direct phone calls to TANF staff; Announce participants to caseworkers; Complete clerical tasks as assigned by supervisor.


Foster Grandparent Coordinator

Closing Date: Open Until Filled

Salary: $12.00 to $14.00 per hour, D.O.E.

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

General Responsibilities

Enjoy working with community seniors; Responsible for developing new volunteer sites, recruiting and placement of volunteers; Plan and conduct of monthly in-service programs; Maintain volunteer records; Attend program advisory council meetings; Maintain relationships with community youths, elders, and volunteers servicing the agency, and other outside agencies/organizations involved with youth and elders; Maintain and encourage positive working relations between the Native American Community, any Native American Student, Foster Grandparent Volunteers, and the Round Valley Unified School District.
