Job Summary:

Cage Cashier / Part-time

1. Responsible for Slot Jackpot/Special Win/Hand Pay Slips, assist Soft Count/Vault Transfers and cash drawer verification sheets.
2. Exchanges Coin and Cash.
3. Ensures that all paperwork and reporting documents are well organized, legible and neat.
4. Makes sure that all cash handling conforms to Title 31 and the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act as well as Minimum Internal Controls and Policies.
5. Answer general questions about the Casino asked by customers or the general public
6. Must be able to operate currency counter.
7. Assist in verification of vault.
8. Advises and reports to the Floor Manager all instances of suspected violations of department or company policy.
9. All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Extreme proficiency in handling and counting large sums of money
2. Excellent 10-key calculator skills and ability to handle cash transactions in a loud Casino environment
3. Excellent attention to detail (e.g., ability to balance a cash drawer)
4. Superior customer service skills
5. Must be able to work in smoke filled environment.
6. Must have valid Driver's License.
7. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
