Tribal Court Code - Adopted by Tribal Council, August 16, 2013
This Ordinance is enacted to establish and provide the processes and procedures for the Tribal Court to exercise the Tribe’s inherent judicial power: to preserve and protect both Tribal and individual resources; to preserve and protect Tribal culture and traditions; and to protect the health and safety of Tribal members and individuals within the jurisdiction of the Tribe.
Wildlife Code - The purpose of this Code is to effect a balance among: (1) the Tribe's obligation to protect and preserve the wildlife resources of the Reservation for future generations; (2) the Tribe's intent to afford tribal members the greatest possible freedom to use and enjoy the Reservation's wildlife resources; and (3) the Tribe's need to generate tribal revenues, as well as protect the potential recreational use of the wildlife resources of the Reservation.
Probate Code - The objective of the Probate Code is to provide for the exercise of the greatest possible tribal jurisdiction over the probate of the estate of decedents who were domiciled or owned real or personal property situated within the territory and jurisdiction of the Tribe.
Law And Order Code - This Code is adopted to ensure law and order for all tribal members, residents and visitors to the Reservation. It is the policy of the Tribe that Reservation residents and visitors are entitled to safety and security against harm.
Elder Protection Code - The purpose of this code is to establish tribal law that protects Elders within the jurisdiction of the Tribe from abuse, exploitation and neglect as defined in this Code. The code shall be liberally interpreted in order to achieve its purpose and comport with the customs and traditions of the Tribe.
Compassionate Use Ordinance - The purpose and intent of this Ordinance is to civilly regulate those persons and lands within Round Valley Indian Country, as it relates to the health, safety, and welfare of the Round Valley Indian Tribes
Tribal Business License And Standards Ordinance - The Round Valley Tribal Council finds that the regulation of persons engaged in trade and business on the Reservation is necessary to safeguard and promote the peace, safety, morals, and general welfare of the Tribe, accordingly, the privilege of doing business within the Reservation, except where such authority is limited or withdrawn from the Tribe by the applicable laws of the United States.
Enrollment Ordinance - This Ordinance shall govern the membership of the Round Valley Indian Tribes and shall establish the qualifications and procedures for enrollment in the Round Valley Indian Tribes. The Round Valley Tribal Council shall be entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining its' membership on behalf of the Tribes.
Gaming Ordinance - This Ordinance is enacted in accordance with the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, 25 U.S.C.§ § 2701 et seq. (IGRA) in order to govern Class II and Class III gaming operations on the Tribe’s Indian lands.
Utility Ordinance - The purpose of this Ordinance is to organize and identify the general rules for the operation, maintenance and management of tribal utilities that are currently in existence or anticipated for the future.
